Technological advancements have made it possible for people to work from anywhere at any time. However, this has caused us to feel like we can never get away from work and have the downtime that we need in order to be at our best. When we don’t give ourselves time to rest and recover, we are at a greater risk for burnout. Burnout can mean that we are feeling exhausted and that a weekend of sleeping in can help us recover or it can be a total physical and mental breakdown requiring medical attention. In this presentation, you will learn the signs and symptoms of burnout and how to take care of yourself if you find that you are burned out.
